Very good hotel close to the city with a great breakfast.

The breakfast was great, the rooms ok. The hotel is right in the city - everything is within walking distance. The bikes can be locked in the basement.

Room was good, the bathroom a little "sterile". Otherwise very nice. The breakfast room was very busy (especially for Corona) as it is also a café. And the risk group likes to go to the buffet without a mask ...

Double room under the roof small, but sufficient for a short break. Bathroom with a comfortable shower. Room has air conditioning !! Breakfast was very good, everything was available. Service and information at the front desk were very friendly, but that suddenly changed at breakfast. Corona due ??? Instead of 'good morning' from a young lady the announcement: 'Name', on the 2nd day instead of 'good morning' from another lady the command 'hands disinfected?' The tone reminds you of a youth hostel.

Quiet hotel right on the center of Xanten. Great arrangements can be booked here on their own website, they are unbeatable. Nice rooms, everything clean, great party favors and super friendly staff.

Top location, nice staff, breakfast in the yard possible. But: the toilets are crazy low, and rooms are not made every day.

A very cozy and clean hotel as well as a very varied breakfast buffet that leaves little to be desired. I felt very comfortable there for two days. Very friendly staff you felt welcome and treated as a guest very well. The good central location with enough restaurants and shops in front of the door rounded off the stay.

Overall, a clean, pleasant hotel. The location in the old town is very convenient and the sights can be easily reached on foot. Despite the city location, it was also reasonably quiet. There is a parking lot right by the hotel, but it is very narrow and full. Nevertheless, we still got a place. The rooms are clean and functional. There was a very strong smell of sewer in the bathroom, which wasn't so nice. This seems to be a general problem in the old town of Xanten, because the smell is unpleasant in several places. The hotel has a nice sun terrace and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was also very friendly. Overall recommendable.

It's a lovely hotel but the clock chimes all through the night so you need to take earplusgs.

Best breakfast in Germany so far. A hotel with a colour scheme. The colour scheme was blue. Really good bike parking in secure basement location. Bike pump and electricity for electric bike available.

Location is very central, only 10 minute walk from the train station. The hotel itself is clean, but not very modern. The staff is exceptionally helpful. The double room was quite standard, received a small fridge upon request. Unfortunately the beds were two single beds.

Very clean newly renovated hotel situated right in the center of historic Xanten. Excellent breakfast and a secure place for our bicycles. We enjoyed our stay here.

Great service at this hotel. Very clean, excellent breakfasts. They really went the extra mile, and were very kind and polite about it. The day we arrived, our train was delayed, and they ordered a taxi for us from the station. We lost a nukle/schnuller (child's dummy/pacifier) on our way to the hotel the first night, and the day we left, we asked about it calling the taxi company to ask for it in the morning. We went off to enjoy the roman museum for the day, and when we returned to get our baggage, not only had they rung the taxi service, but the schnuller was waiting for us when we got back to the hotel. My wife had to leave early, and in addition to ordering her taxi, they also packed her a huge breakfast to take with her because she would miss the buffet breakfast at the hotel, including two sandwiches, an apple, banana, granola bar, cookie and a bottle of apple juice. My son also loved the buffet! Great service, and very very friendly. We highly recommend it and would go again.
